DESCRIPTION
|
The apartment, completely equiped, is situated into an historical village. Here many cultural manifestations happen, and every month you can see an antique trade. In few minutes you can be in Pisa by car, bus or train, and visit its famous monuments and the archaeological excavation of the Roman Port. It’s also possible to make excursions to the most important Tuscany’s towns (Lucca, Volterra, S. Gimignano, Firenze, S.Miniato, Siena). From Cascina you can go to Pisa by mountain-bike along a very nice country lane situated on the Arno’s bank and you can see small villages and romanesque churces along the way. In 10 minutes by car you can visit the big Carthusian monastery with natural science museum of Calci, situated in a very lovely place. On the Monte Pisano there are trekking routes that reach some ancient mills, oratory and some castle’s ruins. It’s interesting also the visit to the Park of S. Rossore, situated between Pisa and the sea. You can go to the beaches of Marina di Pisa and Tirrenia in 30 minutes by car. In the same time you can reach Livorno’s port, from wich you can spend a day in one of the Tuscany’s islands. Who love relax can choose thermal resort in S.Giuliano Terme and Casciana Terme or golf in Tirrenia. The apartment is in a convenient situation to reach the big and modern Cisanello’s hospital, The University of Pisa and the centre of physical research VIRGO.
