This recently restored apartment is ideal for people who want to be within the walls of Lucca. Located on the western edge of the city, it is just a short stroll from an excellent restaurant and close to the promenade on the walls.
Features DescriptionThis cozy rental features a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to make your meal preparation easy and includes an oven, stovetop, refrigerator, toaster and a small breakfast nook with a table and chairs. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a big bright bathroom with a full bathtub and a hand held shower attachment. The living and dining area are combined and have a beautiful marble floor, comfortable loveseat, chair and a television. This unit also has an Internet line, but does not have a computer.
Surrounding DescriptionThis unit is strolling distance to excellent restaurants and shops and city sites, and is a few steps from the park areas and promenade on top of the walls. It is very close to the bus station, a little farther walk to the train station. It is possible to rent a bicycle for an hour or a week to easily get around the traffic limited city or for a beautiful bike ride on top of the 2 ½ mile circle of walls.
Nearby Attractions DescriptionThis apartment is within the walls of Lucca, putting all of this beautiful historic town's sites and churches within an easy walk. Vineyards and villas spread in the Luccan hills beyond. Easy Tuscan day trips include Pisa, Florence, Viareggio, Montecatini Terme and the coast. The Apuan Alps are to the north. And the scenic seaside villages of the Cinque Terre are within day trip distance.
