DESCRIPTION
The Ettore apartment is a cozy two bedroom apartment on a friendly, organic, family-owned farm with an on-site host who speaks English. Close to the village of Poreta, a short distance north of Spoleto, this vacation rental apartment gives you excellent access to all of Umbria.

Features Description

This vacation rental apartment is on the ground floor, sharing an outdoor sitting area with the apartment upstairs. The main living space combines kitchen, living and dining rooms, with a couch, a table, chairs and kitchen facilities along the wall. The main double bedroom had an Italian queen bed. The second bedroom is smaller and darker, with twin beds and an internal window for air circulation but no sunlight. The apartment has wood beamed ceilings throughout and lovely original brick archways that dominate the kitchen area and the bathroom. The bathroom has a big half-mirrored wall and the shower is open, to be handicapped accessible, with a curtain but no cabin or ledge to contain the water. The windows have their original iron bars.

Surrounding Description

Closer to the apartments, the village of La Bruna is a convenient hub for groceries, coffee, banking and other errands. It’s about five minutes from the apartment.

Nearby Attractions Description

Spoleto, and the delightful hill towns of Todi, Trevi, Gubbio, Montefalco and Amelia are all nearby. In addition, there’s Bevagna, Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia and Cortona. Longer day trips to Rome, Florence and Siena are also possible. Spoleto offers a Roman theater and the famous Duomo (cathedral) as well as many worthwhile churches and castles. The world-famous Spoleto Performing Arts Festival takes place each July. The Basilica of San Fransesco, now completely restored, is one of the highlights of the elegant and intimate nearby city of Assisi. Don’t miss the Duomo at Orvieto or the chocolates at Perugia! Spoleto is full of small shops and boutiques, with banks, grocery shopping, cafés, a weekly open-air market and excellent restaurants. Spoleto also offers a train station with express service to Rome.
