|
Nelson Gay is located on a half-mile strand of pristine, sandy beach with incredible swimming and a reef at one end ideal for snorkeling. The villa occupies a two-acre beachfront site with lush landscaped, tropical gardens and many giant, mature trees, which provide shade.
Features DescriptionThe villa was originally built in the 1950’s for US Ambassador Scotten and constructed entirely of coral stone in the grand Palladian manner (14ft ceilings in the living room). Nelson Gay retains the charm of a bygone era with many original features including the floors, designed by Oliver Messel. The interiors feature tasteful, traditional pieces.
Surrounding DescriptionOutside, there is a 50 x 12 private swimming pool and an elegant, garden gazebo by beach seats up to 14 and equipped with wet bar and fridge.
