This beautifully appointed chalet is 1.5 km from the historic downtown with excellent hiking and biking trails accessible from the front door. It is a short 10 km (15 minutes) to the ski hill.
A group of 12 vacationers can lodge comfortably at this 4 bedroom chalet rental in Fernie equipped with enough comfy beds and all the required linens. If you love to experiment with your culinary skills then there is a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table that can seat up to 12. Sorry but no smoking and no pets allowed at Fjellsynhytte.

Fernie is a year round adventure paradise. Well known for its skiing and snowboarding, you can also try snowmobiling, cat skiing, cross country skiing or snowshoeing. In the summer there is hiking, mountain biking, fishing, trail running, whitewater rafting, wildlife viewing and bird watching. A day trip to the renowned Island Lake Lodge is strongly recommended. Lakes for swimming and boating are a 45 minute drive away.
Food connoisseurs can take pleasure in fine wining and dining at the restaurants, bars and bistros in town. Those with a passion for golfing Fernie will be delighted with the local 18 hole golf course and the spectacular views it offers. The Cranbrook/Kimberley golf area about a one and a half hour drive has a number of world class courses.
Fernie is a mountain paradise, a bit rough around the edges, those expecting a glitzy high end resort experience may be a bit disappointed.
