Located in a beautiful natural reserve with a rich variety of flora and fauna, fantastic views, legends and old-aged traditions, Le Castellare is a strategic base for those who love nature, trekking and hiking.The Park of the Sibillini Mountains offers many special things to see and do: walks and mountain-bike trips, horse riding, outdoor sports and characteristic local villages to visit. Explore places surrounded by legends such as the Lake of Pilato, the Hell’s Gorge (Infernaccio), and Sibilla’s Grotto. The G.A.S. the Sibillini Big Ring, is an interesting fully signed 120 Km route, which embraces the full area of the Park. Le Castellare is a welcome point along the way (stop no.9 Rubbiano), and we can tell you about many others.We have renovated the old country cottage, retaining many of its original features such as the wooden beams and the stone, to provide a holiday home with 4 self-catering apartments of various sizes. Each apartment is independent and it has bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, tv, heating and Italian open fireplace, to cater for families, groups and couples who want to enjoy a healthy and relaxing holiday in contact with nature.On request, we provide breakfast and/or packed lunches with local or homemade products, fresh produce in season, meats, jams, fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh eggs, wines. We have agreements with typical restaurants nearby and with a beautiful outdoor swimming pool in summer.
