Lime Hill Villa is situated high and central on the rim of the 20 acre gated community of Galleon Beach Club. Lime Hill has one of the best positions and most spectacular views over Freeman's Bay, historic Nelson's Dockyard at English Harbour and Falmouth. Completed in 2002, this delightful two storey Colonial style Villa is furnished in traditional Caribbean style, with each of the four air-conditioned bedrooms enjoying the breathtaking view.
Architect designed Lime Hill was has four air conditioned double bedrooms, each with truly stunning views, an infinity swimming pool, and is surrounded by a secluded tropical garden, just a few minutes stroll down the hill to the beach.
On the upper floor, the fully equipped kitchen, with Miele dishwasher, fridge/freezer/icemaker and water purifier leads into a spacious lounge/dining room, which features large glass wide opening patio doors on opposite sides to keep the whole room cool, assisted by paddle fans, enabling tropical outdoor/indoor living. The rear patio doors open onto the walled stonework terrace giving privacy and seclusion. The master bedroom is on the same floor, with super king bed, large ensuite bathroom with full size bath/shower, double basins and outside tropical shower. A second bedroom with king size double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower is also on this floor. Both bedrooms have their own balconies overlooking gorgeous Freeman's Bay.
Each bedroom is fully air conditioned, not often needed,as gentle tropical breezes usually keep the rooms delightfully cool.
The double Caribbean style over-arch staircase leads down to the pool area, off which are the two other bedrooms, one of which has a dividable super-king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. Bedroom four, which doubles as a cable TV/video room has twin beds that can be joined to make a double plus a child cot, and has adjacent bathroom and shower. Both downstairs bedrooms have French doors giving direct access to the pool area, which has dining furniture for up to 10 people, and a gas barbecue. Additional cots and high chairs are available on request.
The mature garden includes tropical plants such as Bougainvillea, Paw- Paw, Hibiscus, Alamanda, Christmas Candle, and Oleander. Lime Hill guests enjoy, at no extra cost, maid service, and all the facilities of the Galleon Beach resort, including Reception which has a small library, fax, internet and phone available at extra cost, although most mobile phones will work in Antigua. Wi-Fi access, bring your own laptop.
Additional facilities include two tennis courts, 24 hour security, backup generator, and of course one of the finest white sand and calm water beaches imaginable, all just two minutes stroll down the hill, and should it be required, there is on-site maintenance through Reception.

The onsite Calabash restaurant, built on a wooden deck overlooking the sea is just a couple of minutes stroll away. Many more restaurants in all price brackets are available in the area, just a few minutes drive away. Reception can also arrange, at extra cost, diving, sailing, deep sea fishing etc.
Whilst car hire is not essential, it is recommended, as there is much to see in Antigua, and, apart from Calabash, the wide range of restaurants in the area at Falmouth and English Harbour are 5-10 minutes drive away. Taxis can be booked through reception. For a few dollars, there are a couple of water taxis available from the beach to take you to Nelson's Dockyard, ask at reception. Many guests use Titi car hire, who have a range of some 40 air-conditioned competitively priced vehicles of various sizes, and most importantly, will collect and deliver you from and back to the airport straight from Lime Hill, about 30 minutes away. Galleon Beach enjoys a quite remarkable repeat booking record, guests returning year after year, some for over 25 years, which speaks volumes for this unspoiled tranquil and friendly place, a True Paradise. Although Lime Hill is a comparatively new property, some of our guests are already returning for their second and third time. Guests should be aware that the Hurricane season in Antigua is generally reckoned to be around late August to mid October, so we suggest you do not book then. Some years there are no Hurricanes, some years there are, nobody can say for sure, but it is better to be safe than sorry... At all other times, the weather is usually simply glorious.

Lime Hill is 5 minutes drive from English Harbour and Nelson's Dockyard, the only fully functioning Georgian dockyard in the world, a paradise for those who love the sea and Royal Navy history. A water taxi can be rented from the beach area to take you to the Dockyard, a lovely 3 minute ride, and a few minutes walk to Falmouth will bring you to a shopping area which includes a small supermarket. A diverse range of restaurants and bars in all price brackets abounds in the area.
