Sundeck Ocean Grove is situated in the much sort after 'Old Ocean Grove' area of the town, with a fantastic safe open surf beach just a 10 minute walk away. The Main Village of Ocean Grove, with its excellent restaurants, cafes and shops is also only ten minutes walk (or much quicker if you drive).
The house has two well sized living areas. There is a good size main lounge with new lounge suite and Flat Screen TV. Off the meals area there is a separate sun room living area with two couches and a TV with DVD player.
From the main living room you can see out to the front of the house. Here you will find a big brush fence surrounding a newly built private north-facing decking area with all the facilities to entertain your family and guests outdoors. The front decking and yard area is fully secure with brushed fence gates at the driveway entrance.
Back inside there is a newly fitted kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, including a microwave and full sized oven and stove with all the crockery, cutlery and other implements you need. The meals area has a new dining table that seats 6-8 adults. From the meals area you can access the backyard where there is a full size BBQ (under cover) and an outdoor table and chairs set on a private deck.
There are 2 bathrooms, one with separate shower and bath and a hairdryer is provided. There is a separate toilet and separate laundry, with washing machine. There is a clothes line outside the laundry door and a smaller indoor one inside for wet towels and bathers. Off street parking is provided for up to four cars.
There is a main bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite situated well away from the other two bedrooms at the other end of the house and have bunk beds. Accommodation for 7 people.
Each of the bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans. There is an Air Conditioner and Heater in the Dining Room, as well as a Gas Heater and Ceiling Fan in the main Lounge Room.
Ocean Grove is home to one of the most beautiful surf beaches in Victoria. There is a surf lifesaving club to ensure your swimming is safe. The township has a vibrant shopping area with excellent restaurants, cafes and shops. A large late-night supermarket is only two minutes drive from home. A five minute drive will take you to rustic Barwon Heads where there are excellent walks along the river and coffees available with an awesome sea view at the Old Boat house, as seen in "Sea Change".
Fifteen to twenty minutes will take you to historic Queenscliff, the entrance to Port Phillip Bay, with its grand old hotels and restaurants. In the other direction you can reach Geelong in the same time, a large city with all possible services. Other quaint Bellarine Peninsula towns include Point Lonsdale, Drysdale and Portarlington - all within a ten to fifteen minute drive.
You are also not far from the famous town of Torquay (around twenty minutes by car), home to Bells Beach, probably the most famous surf beach in Australia. From there you can travel along the world famous Great Ocean Road.
