There are several lively squares including the café-lined Campo San Giacomo dell’Orio, and Campo San Polo, the second largest square in Venice. The nearby university and good restaurants add life to the neighborhood. The Rialto Bridge and its adjoining markets are close by. The train station is an easy walk to the north and Piazza San Marco is a 15- to 25-minute walk.
