The pretty lakeside village of Gunten is located on the north shore of Lake Thun and is just a short 15 minute bus ride from Thun. This gorgeous rental is in a superb location and is smartly designed and tastefully furnished and has an extensive, over planted terraced ground complete with a small in ground swimming pool.
Features DescriptionThis rental is the perfect size for two people; it has one bedroom with combined twin beds. However, there is also a pull out sofa in the living area for additional guests. There is one bathroom that has a shower stall and the host will do your laundry for a fee. The kitchen is small, but it is well equipped and includes a microwave and there is also a radio, television and telephone.
Surrounding DescriptionThis unit is just a 3 minute walk from the region's main road along the lakes' north shore at the Oertlibach bus stop. You are also just a 15 minute bus ride from Thun where there is excellent shopping, banks, ATMs and restaurants.
Nearby Attractions DescriptionGunten is an ideal starting point for excursions into the lovely Bernese Oberland. It is often called the "Pearl of Lake Thun" because of the mild climate. This is the perfect spot for those who love water sports and it also has amazing views of the Swiss Alps.
